“ We visit this restaurant often when we are in downtown. Their menu changes frequently depending on the season and the drink menu is extensive especially if you like a cocktail Their seating is always comfortable and there's not really a bad seat in the house. We ordered many small dishes to share and each plates were careful arranged with care. I would also like to mention, even though the price on the menu seem to be slightly high, but it is important to know that they built in the tips for their employees! It seems like the restaurant takes good care of their staff and they always have a team huddle when they start their serving hours. We will be back! ”

“ This sophisticated spot soon becomes the bar where everyone knows your name. Adam and his team really make you feel welcome and valued. The regulars at the bar are an eclectic bunch that before long are chatting to you like old friends. Coming from (way) out of town and keen for somewhere to experience a Thanksgiving dinner, we were blown away! Food was fantastic and incredibly generous in portions. Mulled wine, beautiful too, In fact food was so plentiful we had to take a box back to the hotel! Not only is the bar a great spot, but there are also comfortable booths and romantic tables. We'll be back to check in when we next return to SFO, thanks Adam, Connor, Jollan and Dan, Cheers from Kiwis, Donna and Dale. ”

“ Our group of 7 really enjoyed Bluestem, and the service was top-notch! My seafood linguine was fantastic with fresh seafood, perfectly cooked linguine, and a great sauce to bring it all together. Their happy hour deals were pretty good and the server let us order a couple extra beers and wines before it ended! The garlic bread was disappointing though. Pretty much no garlic at all, and we got 4 thin pieces for like $5? Some of the portions were a bit small for the price but the ingredients are fantastic so I understand. I'd come back for a fancy dinner now and then when I'm in the area! ”

“ Okay, so our lunch didn't go to plan, but let me tell you that the service was amazing and they made everything work for us in the end! I'm not going to go into detail because it was just the perfect storm, but they were accommodating and credited us. As for the food... amazing! I could eat those bao thingies everyday and the smash burger was delicious! They also don't accept tips because they pay people a living wage! Support this business people!!! ”

“ Got to SF mid afternoon and after a few hours drive, we were starving. Found this amazing restaurant a short walk from the Hilton Union Square. Omg - did not expect this place. Not only was the ambiance amazing but the food was out of this world. Everything we ordered was great. The food is served family style so perfect for us. The burger was a smash burger style burger and my kids wouldn't stop about them so I had to take a bite. Out of this F'ing world. So good my kids ordered another one and split it. Everything we ordered was amazing, the chicken, the Crispy pork belly, the kimchi hushpuppies, and even the pecan bourbon cookies for dessert. Everything absolutely amazing. After paying using selfcheck out, my credit card went right through and it skipped the section for tipping. I asked the waiter about it and he said, yes "the tip is built into the price of the items." also told us how they paid for employee retirement and health benefits. How cool is that?!! I absolutely love this place not just for the food but how they take care of their staff. Will be back very soon!!! ”
